Music

I love many kinds of music and had went through various change in musical preference. From indie to mainstream. From classical music to jazz. Music is very important for me.

Books

A little bit different from other girls, rather than spend my money to buy clothes, shoes, or cosmetics, I usually choose to buy books instead.

Pharmacy

Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who practice in pharmacy, the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective medication use. For me the science of pharmacy is fascinating and interesting.

Movie

I'm a movie enthusiast. Particularly for Fantasy, Adventure, Animation and Science-Fiction Movie. It's a nice way to escape the reality for a while.

Anime and Manga

I love to read manga and watch anime ^^

My Personal Top 10 Most Atrractive Male (For now)

Okay. Without I realize, my blogs had gotten more than 25.000 views!! When I first started this blog about a year ago, I didn't even expect anyone would read it coz basically it's just me blabbering about random things. ^^. To celebrate it, I want to write something more personal. Something like my preference about man and what type of man that attractive to me. What? You don't give a damn about that? Well, I also don't give a damn whether you care or not (laugh). It's up to you to read this or not. Here we go!
  • Hiroto Ogata
Some of my friends wouldn't know him by his name, Hiroto. Most of them know him by my favorite nickname for him, Pon-chan ^^. And they usually didn't have the slightest idea who he is. To give you a brief description, here are some pictures of him. But beware! Please don't be fooled by his pretty face. He's more tough than most of man I know on this earth!

Hiroto-kun is guitarist of Alice Nine, a quite popular Japanese band. He's the youngest, thinnest and shortest in the band (only 167 cm), some would not think he's attractive at all. The way he walk is unique, like some short of small & arrogant boy who is too pleased with himself. Back when he's still teenager, Hiroto was considered really hyper. So hyper that some would judge him too exaggerated and too passionate. I can't say that he's clever. He drop out from senior high school when he was just in 2nd year to pursue his dream to be a musician. Sometime I spot some spelling mistakes and errors in his tweets (wrong kanji and stuff. he he he). He's perfectionist and sadist to some degree (laugh). Make his bandmate "miserable" sometimes, like made the vocalist, Shou-kun, sing "ridiculously" high note in one of song that he composed or demand Nao-san, the drummer, to do some difficult drum pattern for his song (laugh again).

Read about his description above must make people question me why I put him as my number 1 ^^. But he has something that I value the most. Much more than I value brains and beauty. And that is spirit, passion and behavior, my friend. Contrast to his smug look, he's so humble, polite and a hard worker. He's a man with dream & purpose in this life and he work hard to make it come true. His passion is contagious, he radiate energy. Everytime I look at him, I'm ashamed to be so lazy and had a pointless life T^T. Not too mention that he's a good guitarist and had some skill in design. Okay, enough blabbering. I can never explain all of it too you^^, so let's move to the number 2!

  • Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict is a British actor, mostly known for his role as Sherlock Holmes in BBC Series Sherlock. He also star in a lot of good movies like Hawking, War Horse, the Atonement, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Star Trek Into Darkness (as the most anticipating villain), and he provide voice and motion capture for the dragon Smaug in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. It's interesting how he could look as a very handsome man or an ugly one depending on the make-up, hair and his role.

As Peter Guillam in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Swoon!! Doki doki!!

As Stephen Hawking in Hawking

Those cheekbones. Oh yeah *dirty thought

As Sherlock Holmes

He's so cute in this one
What? You don't know him? Why don't you just watch Sherlock? You should watch it eons ago and maybe you will be a cumberbit*hes like me or nearly have a man-crush on him like Jeremy Janhs (laugh).

  • Logan Lerman
I'm a little bit Shotakon >///< for loving someone as young as my little sister. Logan Lerman is one of promising young American actor. He is widely known as Percy Jackson in Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, D'Artagnan in Three Musketeers and Charlie in The Perks of Being the Wallflower (one of most underrated movie this year. It's a great movie, yet it didn't even screened in Jakarta cinema). By the way, he's also a musician and love to play basketball >///<.

As Percy Jackson
He said, "I play music. I love learning a new instrument and creating songs; it also goes hand in hand with
filmmaking, like creating a feeling and emotion in music to complement a scene. Songwriting, guitar, piano,
bass, ukulele, a little bit of violin, a little bit of everything - primarily guitar and piano. It's just a hobby for
now, maybe it would turn into a profession someday... who knows". <3.
  • Takeru Sato
My favorite Japanese actor. His notable roles are as Kenshin in Rurouni Kenshin and Koyuki in Beck.

credit to Takelicious
As Koyuki in Beck!

  • G Dragon
Leader and the song writer of BigBang, a South Korean Boyband. Love to see him moves and dance ^^.

He shoot my heart

  • Tetsuya Ogawa
Great bassist and the leader of L'Arc~en~Ciel >///<.

  • James McAvoy
A great Scott actor widely known as Prof. Charles Xavier in X-Men First Class. He also starred in some notable movies like Wanted and the Atonement. Love his acting ^^.

  • Martin Freeman
Widely known as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit and Dr. John Watson in Sherlock. He's not handsome but he's witty, funny, and has interesting personality. He's 41 years old, but it didn't stop me to put his poster on my wall.

The poster in my room ^^

  • Robert Downey Jr
Uhmm, you know who he is. I don't have to introduce you to him, do I?

  • Tablo
I was going to put Johnny Depp or Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Elijah Wood and a dozen attractive man to end this list, but I choose Tablo instead. Handsome? Not really. Genius, witty, pretty funny and write some of my favorite lyrics in the world. Please welcome, the leader of Epik High (a South Korean Hip-Hop group), Tablo!

That's it! How about your list? Btw, I'm sleepy. Had lots of works tomorrow. Bye bye!

Penggunaan Kosmetika di Sekitar Mata

Setelah sekian lama menenggelamkan diri di dunia persilatan ehm... perfilman, akhirnya aku turun gunung lagi untuk menulis artikel tentang kosmetika. Yup, this time aku akan membahas soal salah satu make-up favoritku yaitu make-up yang digunakan di sekitar mata. Oke? Here we go!

Jika iritasi berlanjut, segera hubungi dokter.
As usual. Semoga artikel ini bermanfaat untuk kalian semua. Ja, mata nee!!

My Personal Top 10 Best Movies of 2012

I know, I know. This is too late. But better late than nothing. I haven't seen all 2012 movies so you would not find Looper, Lincoln, Argo, the Cabin in the Woods, or any movie that you think would be the best movies in 2012 because I haven't watch it. So, my list is pretty much like this:

10. Les Miserables

Some would find this movie good, some would feel it bad. This movie is pretty artsy. If you're not someone who would watch a movie where 99% of its dialogue or monologue is in song (they really communicate with tunes to each other. They even sing before they die), please don't watch this! But as someone who appreciate great acting performance (particularly Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman), of course I like this movie.

9. Life of Pi

Visually stunning, great actors, great script even though not as touching as I was expected. But still, I really respect Ang Lee for bring this thought-to-be-impossible-to-film movie to big screen.

8. Skyfall

Great action scene, amazing cinematography, balance between humors and tension, good acting and good villain. This is the Bond movie that I really want to see.

7. The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Probably one of the most underrated movie in 2012. I really love this film because it's emotionally moving and I can relate it to myself. Logan Lerman and Erza Miller's performance in this movie are great. We are infinite!

6. Silver Lining Playbook

This movie about two people with problems that came to love each other managed to change my point of view. Great acting and great script. Touching and funny at once. I love Jennifer Lawrence in this movie.

5. The Avengers

One of the most memorable line in 2012:
Captain America: Big man in a suit of armor. Take that away and what are you?
Iron Man: Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist.
But the character that I love the most in this movie is The Hulk and Black Widow

4. The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey

I love Gandalf and for me, all movies with more Gandalf screen time are great movies (I absolutely agree to Jeremy Jahns about this). Moreover, I really love Martin Freeman in this movie that made me feels that he is the only Bilbo Baggins that I want to see and can't wait to see The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug this December.

3. The Dark Knight Rises

Do you really need any words from me about why I place this movie as one of my personal top 10 best movies in 2012?

2. Django Unchained

Django is badass, Dr. King Schultz is badass, Candie and Stephen are even more badass.  Then we got this badass movie.

1. Wreck-it Ralph

I love animation movie. I love games. So please don't hate me for putting this movie on the top of my list because it's a perfect combination of animation with a lot of games characters in it. Moreover, this animation was surprisingly deep, make me cry everytime I watch it again because I can relate myself to the characters.

Okay. So that is my list. How about yours?

Alice Nine - Daybreak (Preview)

As you guys (maybe) know, Alice Nine will release 3 consecutive singles from March till May. The first single, Daybreak, will be out on 20 March 2013 and will be followed by Shadowplay on April. The preview for Daybreak single first aired on 15 February 2013 on their Nico-nico show, Alice Nine Channel. As usual, Alice Nine members (in this case Hiroto, Nao and Tora) have to do something as long as they can so the staff would play PV of  their single. As soon as they stop, the staff stop play their PV which made Daybreak PV only aired for about 57 seconds ^0^.

It's not surprising to see Alice Nine fandom buzzing about this PV since the band haven't releasing any single for about a year. Then Universal Music Japan uploaded the 90 seconds preview of the PV yesterday and in 1 day, the preview has been watched almost 10.000 times. Even though this is just a preview, I was quickly in love with the PV. Maybe one of my favorite PV from Alice Nine. The scenery is really beautiful. You could watch the PV preview here, it's really good:

Honestly, I was quite worry the first time I hear the preview. It's because this song is surprisingly so easy listening. ^^. Maybe you would find me weird, but I don't really like easy listening song because I tend to quickly bored with it. I was able to hear the full song on BuzzRock radio and.... Hmmm... I have mixed feeling about Daybreak.

I love the fact that Alice Nine's song have many layers & depth and this one is not an exception. This is a pop song mixed with Funk-guitar and Funk-bass style, something that maybe they never do it before. I like Shou's voice in this one, particularly in the intro. This song is easy listening so I hope they could attract new fans and their music will appeal to larger audience.

What I don't like about Daybreak is it don't have a guitar or bass solo in it. This is really personal opinion, since I've been longing to hear new guitar solo from Hiroto or Tora (or both, sweet heaven ^^). I think they just want to have a steady and balance song. I prefer to hear another rock song from them but maybe Alice Nine want to change their atmosphere since lots of songs in "9" album are a heavy rock songs.

Whatever. I decide to give this single a chance since my favorite songs from Alice Nine are usually not the single itself but the coupling songs ^^. My favorite songs from their singles are like these:
  • White Prayer single --> The Last Empire
  • Rainbows single --> Kochouran
  • Cross Game single --> Mugen~electric~eden
  • Hana single --> Sleepwalker
  • Senkou single --> Solar Eclipse
  • Stargazer single --> Karma
  • Blue Flame single --> Zankyou Whiteout
  • Heart of Gold single --> Ray
  • Niji no Yuki single --> Nemesis
See? That's why I really look forward to hear the coupling song, Himitsu. What do you think about this preview? Do you agree with me or do you have different opinion?

YouTube Personality

For a nerdy, geeky girl like me, internet is a basic need. I seldom watch TV but I always watch videos on internet, particularly on YouTube. Nowadays, many artists that you've seen on TV got famous first as YouTube personality. For example, Justin Bieber, Greyson Chance, Charice, Rebeca Black, and Sung Ha Jung, all of them got in the spotlight thanks to the facts that they're popular on YouTube. By the way, here are some of YouTube personalities in which I subscribe to his/her/their videos on YouTube:
  • Smosh
Smosh is a famous Comedy Duo on YouTube that currently hold record as the most subscribed YouTube channel. They're pretty funny but I only watch their show when I'm bored. In other words, I rarely watch them on YouTube. You could see their YouTube channel here.

  • Ray William Johnson
Ray William Johnson is a famous YouTube personality and currently is the 2nd most subscribed YouTube channel. You could find his channel here.  He's basically review all the viral videos on YouTube every week and it's pretty funny. If you don't wanna missed all the crazy things/videos that happening or trending in the world, you should subscribed to his channel. He's also a musician where he's a rapper in a project called Your Favorite Martian. They're pretty cool and their songs are pretty funny too. Unfortunately this project has been retired.

  • Jeremy Jahns
The subscribers of his channel maybe only about 200 thousands, but I really love it! He is a movie, movie trailer and game reviewer. The dude is pretty funny and I usually watch his review before go to movie theater ^^. You could watch his videos here. By the way, he has some kind of interesting rating system for movies that he reviewed. The rating is goes like this:
  1. Dogshit --> dreadful and rubbish movie
  2. So bad, it might be fun if you're drunk/It's a good time, if you're drunk --> bad movie
  3. You'd like it, if you knew you're friends would never find out --> kinda disappointing movie
  4. It's ok, but you're not going to remember it in T-minus...... ---> so-so movie
  5. Worth watching, no alcohol required/Is a good time, no alcohol required --> good movie
  6. I'd even buy this on Blue-Ray --> great movie
  7. Awesometacular! --> outstanding movie
  • Charlie McDonnell
Charlie is a YouTube personality from UK and he made lots of video where he explain or do something. He's also a pretty good musician. He often sing his own songs in his video while playing ukulele. I watch his YouTube video to help training my ears to understand words in British accent. You could watch his videos here. By the way, he's pretty cute^^.

  • Lindy Tsang
Lindy Tsang, which is known as Bubz in YouTube have 3 channels. I subscribed to her main channel, Bubzbeauty, where I could get tips and watch her make-up tutorials. It's pretty essential to girl like me who almost never wear make-up in my live, not until I'm twenty-something (laugh).

5 Movies That I Can't Wait To See in 2013

Well, almost everybody know that I'm a movie freak. And here are some movies that I can't wait to watch in 2013!!
  • Star Trek Into Darkness
Star Trek: Into Darkness is one of my most anticipated movie of this year even though I can't say that I'm a big fan of Star Trek franchise. I remember how I love Star Trek: New Generation with Patrick Stewart as the Captain of Enterprise D when I was still in Primary School. I also watch some episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. But I never watch Star Trek movies (only watched the series) before J.J Abrams suddenly reboot the Star Trek movies in 2009.

Honestly, I don't really like the character of James T. Kirk in that movie, obviously not my type :-). Fu fu fu. Don't get me wrong, I love Chris Pine (Have you read my blog post about how I love Jack Frost? Well, Chris Pine is his voice actor), I just don't like Kirk character. My most favorite character in Star Trek is Spock and I quite like Hikaru Sulu, Pavel Chekov, and Montgomery Scott too. The things that made me really can't wait to see this movie is because one of my favorite actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, will play the villain!! Check his photos below!!

The release date is moved forward to 15 May 2013
Benedict Cumberbatch as John Harrison

There's a lot of rumors out there about the character that Benedict will play (Is it Khan? Gary Mitchell? A really new villain or what?) Alice Eve told press that Benedict would not play Khan. But again, Marion Cortillard said she would not played Talia in The Dark Knight Rises before (laugh). Whatever. I'll just sit down, sip my tea and wait patiently for the time this movie screen in Blitzmegaplex.

He's so gorgeous even though he's a bad guy in this movie
  • Iron Man 3
Do you really need a reason why this film is amongst my most anticipated movie of the year? How can I miss a movie about a Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist called Tony Stark?
I can't wait till 3rd May to watch this movie!!
This time, Tony Stark will meet his deadliest enemy yet, the Mandarin!
  • The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
After watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, there's no way I would not go to movie theater to watch Desolation of Smaug. I'm f**king in love with Martin Freeman. Not to mention that Benedict Cumberbatch will play Smaug the dragon. This is going to be awesome!

Still have to wait till December 2013 to watch this movie T^T.
  • The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The first The Hunger Games movie maybe is one of the best adaptation movie from book that I ever saw and Jennifer Lawrence is one of my favorite actress (ever since I saw her in X-men First Class and Silver Lining Playbooks. Brilliant). And I kinda love the love stories between Peta and Katniss too.

She's so gorgeous. I can't wait to see her act on 22 November 2013
  • Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monster
Okay. Okay. Honestly, the first Percy Jackson movies is a big disappointment for the faithful readers of Percy Jackson and the Olympians books, including me. They miss almost all the things that made the books interesting. They ignored the fact that Percy is only 12 in the first book. They didn't include the big prophecy and Kronos in the storyline. What I hate the most is the end of this movie where Poseidon said how regretful he is because he can't stay with Percy and how he actually loves Percy, contrary to the book where Percy felt relieve because his father did not say any excuse for not staying with him and did not act like a human father. That's why I felt those scenes didn't sincere and fake.

Alexandra Daddario finally dyed his hair to be blond.
Anabeth is blonde and I was quite mad that she was portrayed as a brunette in the first movie.

But I will give this movie series a second chance and I can't wait to see Logan Lerman act as my precious Percy again >///<. I hope this movie series could be like Harry Potter where all the books got the chance to turn into movie because I really want to see my favorite character from the book, Nico de Angelo, come to life :-).

Well, that is my list. What about yours?

CZ12 (Chinese Zodiac)

Despite many negative reviews about this Jackie Chan's last action movie, I simply felt entertained and enjoyed it when I watched this movie in the Galeria 21 with my siblings and cousins. Okay, maybe the action is not as tense as other Jackie Chan's movie (especially his movies in the 90s) and don't have intricate fight sequence. But I don't care. There are many good action movies that didn't even managed to stay in my memories but it's not the case in CZ12 (Chinese Zodiac). This film managed to left impression on me. I am moved because it aims to teach us the importance of appreciating and preserving our history. Well, how can't I? I always have interest to history and artifacts (maybe the only one person in my surrounding that really love to go to museums).

This movie told us about JC, a thief that leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals which was looted by foreigners in the 1800s. Actually, I didn't planned to watch movie in Bali since I usually go to Blitzmegaplex and they didn't screen this film (It is only screened in Cinema 21 and XXI). But my cousins and my brother never watch a movie in movie theater before and I wanted them to have the experience. That's why we went to the nearest movie theater from my house and CZ12 was the only movie that was played there beside Habibie and Ainun. I was so glad that they enjoyed their first experience, laugh together in every comedic scenes and thrilled to watch every action scenes.

Jackie Chan is 60 years old now and he won't do any action scenes again so this is his last action movies. For me, just this fact alone was enough to make me watch this film. Moreover, this movie could made me laugh and entertained me. Just give it a try!
