Music

I love many kinds of music and had went through various change in musical preference. From indie to mainstream. From classical music to jazz. Music is very important for me.

Books

A little bit different from other girls, rather than spend my money to buy clothes, shoes, or cosmetics, I usually choose to buy books instead.

Pharmacy

Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who practice in pharmacy, the field of health sciences focusing on safe and effective medication use. For me the science of pharmacy is fascinating and interesting.

Movie

I'm a movie enthusiast. Particularly for Fantasy, Adventure, Animation and Science-Fiction Movie. It's a nice way to escape the reality for a while.

Anime and Manga

I love to read manga and watch anime ^^

List of 15 Badass Female Characters in Anime and Manga

I always love anime and manga with strong female characters. That's why I would like to present you a list of female characters whom not only can seriously kick some ass but also have cool personality. Well, at least in my opinion ^^. Jeng..jeng..jeng...Here they are!
  • Mikasa Ackerman  (Shingeki No Kyojin)

I swooned over her since the first time I see her in 3D Manuvear Gear. She's a genius fighter with awesome skills, being the top graduate of 104 squad. She might be a little bit overprotective towards Eren, but she's cool, humble, level-headed, had a strong will and caring. Hence, I really like her.

  • Morgiana (Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic)

I'm a big fan of Morgiana. She's really awesome, strong yet gentle. Her fight moves is so cool, particularly the new way to use her Household Vessels.

  • Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail)

Fairy Tail most strongest woman. In my opinion, her requips magic is so beautiful.

  • Xiang Ying (Angel Heart)

Although it seems that Xiang Ying is not really popular among anime fans, but I really like her. An ex-assassins with code name Glass Heart. She's beautiful, deadly, but amusingly innocent.

  • Retsu Unohana (Bleach)

So gentle that it's scary
Unohana true nature
One of the badass female characters from Bleach. Master of healing technique, I like her from the start. I like her more after her past as the first Kenpanchi revealed. It's so contradictory that it's really interesting. I mean, a bloodthirsty violent fighter whom also a master in healing people. Seems legit.

  • Kagura (Gintama)

Insanely strong, cheeky, cheerful, with big appetite. Kagura-chan is so funny and cute.

  • Ryuko Matoi (Kill la Kill)

Admit it. Despite her indecent outfit, she's a badass and lovable character. Personally, I really like her.

  • Saeko Busujima (High School of the Dead)

The most badass female in High School of the Dead.

  • Shihouin Yoruichi (Bleach)

Goddess of Flash, Yoruichi.

  • Tsunade (Naruto)

The 5th Hokage is awesome.

  • Boa Hancock (One Piece)

The Pirate Princess who could turn you to stone.

  • Leenalee Lee (D.Gray - Man)

Her moves in the air with her innocence, Dark Boots,  are really pretty.

  • Olivier Mira Armstrong (Full Metal Alchemist)

The "ice queen" is the only female general in Full Metal Alchemist. She can defeated an alchemist through her swordmanship skills alone.

  • Teresa (Claymore)

Teresa of the faint smile, a legendary warrior in Claymore.

  • Ran Mouri (Detective Conan)

The most normal one among this list. But I really love a strong girl who can seriously beat douchebags.

That  was my opinion. How about yours? I don't read many manga and only watch a few anime so if you have a suggestion regarding this list, I would check it out.

By the way, all the pictures above is not mine. Credit to the uploader.

Adventure on 11 April 2014 - Pasar Baru and Gedung Kesenian Jakarta

This Friday, I have an opportunity to watch Spectacle Zero performance by Teater Tanah Airku, a famous children theater in Indonesia. I went to Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (GKJ) by TransJakarta, but it was too early. I thought Jakarta street would be really crowded in the Friday afternoon so I rushly leave my boarding house at 5 pm. But surprisingly, my journey is really smooth. The show was started at 8 pm meanwhile I got there by 6 pm. Hence, I took time to explore Pasar Baru, a renowned market for its cheap shoes in Jakarta near GKJ. I couldn't believe that this is the first time I went to those iconic places. *Sigh*. Pasar Baru is the oldest market in Jakarta. It was build in 1820. Here are some pictures of Pasar Baru.

I bought a nice jeans here. It's quite cheap

The theater performance is interesting. I got teary up a bit when they arranged blocks that ultimately stated the motto of education in Indonesia.
ing ngarsa sung tulada (teachers should become models and give examples in front of their students)
ing madya mangun karsa (teachers should fosters initiatives among their students)
tut wuri handayani (teachers should support their students from behind)
It really reminds me that our childrens is precious and it is our duty to educate them. Unfortunately it is prohibited to take pictures of the Spectacle Zero show. But here are some pictures inside GKJ:

The theater performance that I attended is part of a children art's festival

Now I'm longing to see performance by Teater Koma and Teater Mandiri. Actually there's a theater performance in Komunitas Salihara but I'm a little bit afraid to go there alone because it's a little bit far, both from my boarding house and from public transportation. Anyone want to accompany me to go there sometimes?

Adventure on 9 April 2014 - Galeri Indonesia Kaya

It's not a new place. I always pass by this place when I go to Blitzmegaplex Grand Indonesia. But I always hesitate to explore it before because Galeri Indonesia Kaya is owned by cigarettes company. I heard many bleak stories from my friend whom dealing with them, hence I'm not fond of big cigarettes companies. True that they sponsored many event, offer scholarships, even spare "little" from their "enormous" profit to education and culture preservation. But our health costs and harm to our citizens from cigarettes smoking is even bigger than the advantage that big cigarettes companies offer to us. Ups.. I guess I'm blabbering too much, it's out of topic ^^.

I'm interested in history and culture. For the sake of being unbiased, I finally free myself to explore it a few days ago. It's a really nice place with interesting activities where we can see Indonesia traditional culture. When we arrive, some digital images of people in traditional clothes will welcome you with greetings in traditional languages. There are also many games in this galeri. It's quite good. Here are some pictures:

When you go inside or go out from this place, those digital images will say greetings in traditional languages.

Overall it's pretty lovely. Unfortunately it's not spacious. You should come here at least once, if you're in Jakarta.
